PennEast Pipeline Company recently presented Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI) with a PennEast “Powering STEM” Grant. PennEast’s Powering STEM Grant Program enhances the study of science, technology, engineering and mathematics within Pennsylvania and New Jesrey.
LCTI is Pennsylvania’s largest, and the nation’s third largest, career and technical school. With the support of PennEast, LCTI will be able to strengthen its STEM curriculum and specifically bolster the school’s Camp LCTI.
As explained in the video below by Dr. Rita Tatusko, Supervisor of Career & Technical Education & Special Projects Coordinator for LCTI, Camp LCTI provides classes to fifth- through eighth-grade students. PennEast’s contribution will help pay for equipment and instructors who teach classes such as 3D Discovery, Busy Bots, Code Name: Animator, Energy Explorers, and many more.

Introduced in February, the PennEast Powering STEM Grant Program has invested nearly $130,000 to more than a dozen schools and nonprofit organizations across New Jersey and Pennsylvania to enhance access to STEM educational opportunities.
